This Thursday, July 28, 2022, the Promotion and Participation Company for Economic Cooperation (PROPARCO), a subsidiary of the French Development Agency (AFD) and Coris Bank International Côte d’Ivoire (CBI CI) signed an agreement in favor of High impact SME/SMI. The ceremony took place at the headquarters of Coris Bank International Côte d’Ivoire, located in Treichville Zone 1 Boulevard VGE, in the presence of SEM. Jean-Christophe BELLIARD, Ambassador of France in Côte d’Ivoire, Mrs Fatoumata SISSOKO-SY, West Africa Regional Director of PROPARCO, and Mr Mamadou SANON, Managing Director of Coris Bank International Côte d’Ivoire accompanied by his close associates.
The agreement signed relates to the provision to the bank of a line of guarantee in the amount of 19 million Euros (i.e. 12.5 billion FCFA) intended to support Ivorian SMEs/SMIs within the framework of the international trade. The guarantee line will thus facilitate the import operations of basic products and industrial tools.
Through the implementation of this partnership with PROPARCO, Coris Bank International Côte d’Ivoire reaffirms its commitment to supporting SMEs/SMIs and to developing the country’s private sector.
