CBI obtains a 10 billion FCFA line from BOAD intended for MSMEs

The West African Development Bank (BOAD), on the occasion of its 118th ordinary session, approved on September 25, 2020 new financing for the eight WAEMU countries with a view to better contributing to the integration and transformation of economies of its member countries.

It is within this framework that Coris Bank International Côte d’Ivoire benefited from a refinancing line of 10 billion FCFA, or 15.24 million euros, from BOAD to support its resources intended to support Micro, Small and Ivorian medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

This envelope will also make it possible to refinance productive investment projects in sectors eligible for financing from the West African Bank.

It should be noted that this 118th ordinary session was held under the chairmanship of Serge EKUE, appointed since August 18 at the head of BOAD.
