CBI Baraka Côte d’Ivoire celebrates 3 years marked by significant growth

This Tuesday, June 22, 2021, Coris Bank International Baraka Côte d’Ivoire celebrated its 3rd anniversary in the presence of the Managing Director of CBI Côte d’Ivoire, Mr. Mamadou Sanon, guests (mainly customers) from Coris Bank Baraka and officers. The General Management wanted to mark this day with a white stone during a ceremony organized in compliance with the barrier measures at the main agency Coris Bank Baraka, located in Abidjan-Plateau within the Alliance building, punctuated by a symbolic cutting of a cake with a client.
To this end, the Managing Director addressed a few words to the guests and his collaborators: « June 22, 2018 – June 22, 2021, we are celebrating the 3rd anniversary of Coris Bank International Baraka Côte d’Ivoire. These 3 years of existence have been characterized by significant growth in our activities. We extend our sincere thanks to our customers for their trust and their presence at this ceremony. We also thank and encourage the staff for their daily efforts. Thank you for the trust you show us. Let’s share this special moment together. »
During the discussions, he answered a plural question that could be worded as follows: “What is Islamic Finance? Who is Coris Bank Baraka for? How does Coris Bank Baraka work? And what products/services does it offer? The Director General of CBI CI clarified that Islamic Finance is a participatory system that complements the conventional system and offers alternatives for financing the national economy. Islamic Finance is also an ethical, responsible and non-speculative finance. “It is a financial model based on five principles including three prohibitions and two obligations. Coris Bank Baraka Côte d’Ivoire is the Islamic branch of Coris Bank International Côte d’Ivoire, and is aimed at all those (Muslims and non-Muslims) who wish to invest, save or borrow in an ethical manner and in accordance with the principles of Sharia , through the products and services that are Murabaha, Ijara and Moudharaba, etc. “said Mr. Mamadou Sanon, stressing that the prospects are good for Islamic finance.
“This is the new financing alternative that we have brought to Côte d’Ivoire to support the national economy. It is financing that is ethical and that will allow companies to benefit from it. This is financing that is really appropriate for SMEs,” he added. For different types of needs, products are designed to satisfy customers, in compliance with the rules and requirements of Islamic finance. « Bientôt, a révélé le Directeur Général, nous aurons un nouveau produit dénommé « Coris Epargne Hadj » pour le bonheur de nos clients. To serve, to satisfy its customers and partners with innovative and quality product and service offers, such is the commitment made by CBI CI. »
The ceremony took place in an atmosphere of joy and conviviality.
